1446 WOMEN.

The right to vote is a bedrock of our democracy, our community, and our identities. Yet for 1,446 women in Illinois, their vote and their voice is silenced. Many of these women have been waiting for years in the hopes that their voice might be heard on the other side of the prison walls.

1 . Support the passage of the RACE Act.The RACE Act would restore the right to vote to people completing their sentence in Illinois' prisons.

2. Have each person presently incarcerated in Illinois' women prisons be honored through a commitment to voting in Illinois elections.

3. Support the national movement to restore voting rights to every incarcerated and formerly incarcerated person.
