1446 WOMEN.

The right to vote is a bedrock of our democracy, our community, and our identities. Yet for 1,446 women in Illinois, their vote and their voice is silenced. Many of these women have been waiting for years in the hopes that their voice might be heard on the other side of the prison walls.

These are women currently incarcerated in Illinois and their thoughts on voting.
These are all 1446 incarcerated women in IL.

Waiting isn't going to cut it anymore. We're demanding change, and your voice can make it happen. With your support, we can show to changemakers and people in power that every person must have their voice in the community heard. As we center the voices of incarcerated women and make the push for their rights, we can show the whole country it is possible to end this injustice for good.
